Author Archie a Finalist for Esteemed Award

Archie D. Nettles, Jr., author of the Trades to the Rescue children's book, is a finalist for the 2025 Gentlemen’s Toast Award. The Gentlemen's Toast recognizes exceptional Black men who are driving meaningful change in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas through business impact, community influence, and character that reflects integrity, innovation, and lasting legacy.

Nominations represent both peer recognition and public respect, celebrating men who elevate culture, uplift communities, and exemplify the values of fatherhood, faith, and financial leadership. Mr. Nettles was nominated for embodying these important values, but also for his vision and purpose tied to workforce readiness development and youth education.

The awards ceremony will be held January 17, 2026 in Dallas, Texas. This inaugural celebration marks the start of a tradition dedicated to honoring black men who lead with purpose and inspire change.
