Let the lights on learning begin! Trades to the Rescue! is a children’s book dedicated to those hardworking hands who keep the lights on. It is a story about two curious kids named Torque and Tori who share a big love for building. When the lights go out in their town of TradesTopolis, they jump into action to figure out what happened. With tools, teamwork and a little help from their talking sidekick, they discover how electricians keep our homes safe and bright. The story also dives into a brief introduction of many other trades, like carpentry, plumbing and HVAC.

The book, the first in the TradesTopolis Universe™ series, includes a full fix-it glossary of terms electricians may use, but in a way that is easy to understand. It also includes a simple description of tools, an interactive activity page and ways to stay safe when working with tools.

 

It’s a fun, engaging and colorful way to learn about the trades and how things work when it comes to lighting up the future. Perfect for children ages 4-10 years who love to build, explore and ask "Why?"
